Air-IT were pleased to have sponsored the Circus Starr charity event which took place before Christmas. Money raised from the event went towards the Nottingham University Hospitals Charity, which supports work at the Queen’s Medical Centre and the City Hospital.
Circus Starr is an all-human circus that travels the Country, raising money for local Charities. The company works with over 70 local UK charities each year, in particular raising funds for hospices and hospitals. The show contains a mix of top-flight acrobatics, breath-taking balancing and non-stop comedy performed to audiences of all ages in more than 75 towns and cities across the UK each year.
Circus Starr’s unique ethos is to raise thousands of pounds for local charities from the advance sales of tickets to local businesses. These are then donated to essential local children’s charities enabling underprivileged children and children with disabilities to enjoy a memorable day at the circus.
The Nottingham Circus, part of the company’s nationwide tour, was held in the Circus Starr Big Top at the National Watersports Arena, in Adbolton Lane.
Air-IT were proud to be involved in sponsoring the overall event as well as donating 3 tickets to a local school for children who otherwise would not get the chance to enjoy the magic of a circus.
