We would like to congratulate Air-IT Help Desk Technician Josh Turner who has become Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA A+) certified. CompTIA A+ is an industry standard qualification which validates the skills and knowledge necessary for a career as an IT support technician.
Josh recently passed his Practical Application assessment – the second exam needed in order to achieve this accreditation. This hands-on practical assessment tested Josh’s ability in troubleshooting and resolving everyday IT support problems.
The accreditation has proved Josh’s competences in areas such as hardware / software installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting. The qualification has provided Josh with additional valuable experience that will enable him to more efficiently deal with our client’s daily IT support needs whilst providing first-line technical support on our Help Desk.
CompTIA A+ is part of the certification track for further industry qualifications that Josh will complete this year as part of his fast track Microsoft apprenticeship scheme.
