We're delighted to announce the latest winners of our quarterly staff awards, which saw five members of Air-IT / MBC staff gaining recognition of their contributions in newly held positions, throughout various departments of the business.

Delivering Excellence Awards Programme

Introduced in 2014, our Delivering Excellence awards programme aims to recognise and reward staff members who have excelled in their roles, clearly demonstrating company values and contributing to the ongoing success of the business.

Air IT support staff awards

Perhaps the most anticipated of the four awards – our Employee’s Employee Award is at the pinnacle of the system and decided by an overall staff vote.

Before anonymous voting can open to staff, it’s up to our Directors to choose the winners of our three category awards with those selected automatically put forwrad to the final for the Employee’s Employee Award.

Designed to cover the various ways staff contribute, our three categories include:

Air IT support Marketing executive

Laura Saxton

Marketing Executive, Laura Saxton – winner of Most Valuable Contribution 

Having joined the company in March, Laura was chosen as winner of this award to recognise her continued efforts in going above and beyond the call of duty in her role, quickly becoming an integral and highly valued member of the team.

Armando Agaci

Client Services Administrator, Armando Agaci – winner of Most Improved Performance 

Armando was chosen as winner of this award to recognise the fantastic and early impression he has made in his new role as Client Services Administrator.

Since joining the company in June 2015, Armando has hit the ground running fitting in seamlessly with the team, implementing new ideas and fully embracing the company culture.

Alex Cook

Account Manager, Alex Cook – winner of Outstanding Customer Service 

Chosen as winner to recognise the exceptional transition he has made in his first year as Account Manager, Alex has fully embraced his new role and delivered on the responsibilities required as part of our Client Services team.

The award marks his second consecutive nomination as a candidate for the staff vote this year – testament to his commitment and the progress he continues to make.

Congratulations to all three, who win dinner for 2 at a restaurant of their choice.

Recognising Others

Primarily defined by core company values, our awards process is also designed to recognise employee achievements that may be beyond the realms of our three category awards.

As a result, two further members of staff are nominated buy our middle management team to go forward with our three category winners to the ultimate accolade and overall staff vote for the Employee’s Employee of the Quarter.

This quarter our two additional nominees were:

Remote IT Support Technician, Roger Brown

Nominated for stepping up to lead a critical division our our Service Desk department as part of our out of hours IT support team, and for leading by example to deliver a seamless service to our clients.

Anxhela Agaci

Business Administration Assistant, Anxhela Agaci 

Put forward for the major impact she has made in the finance department since joining the team in March, and recognising the clear potential she has demonstrated to progressing further within in her role.

Employee’s Employee Award

The Employee’s Employee Award was announced at our pre-Christmas company gathering on Thursday 10th December.

Following a very close vote, Managing Director, Todd McQuilkin presented the top award which went to Roger Brown.

Todd comments:

Roger has been working really hard behind the scenes to ensure our out of hours / on-call team continue to deliver the world class service levels our clients expect, with a seamless service regardless of our opening hours.

It’s great to see him earning this recognition from colleagues which speaks volumes and is testament to the phenomenal contribution he has made to the company. Well done, Roger!

As recognition of his achievement, Roger wins a weekend break away for 2 plus dinner.
