Air-IT were pleased to take part in the recent Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce (DNCC) 5-a-side Charity Football Tournament.

The Chamber Comic Relief Cup 2011 was held at the Nottingham Power league on Tuesday 15th March with proceeds going to Comic Relief.

Around 20 Chamber member teams from a wide cross section of businesses took part in the tournament. The Air-IT team consisted of make shift squad due to injuries incurred in practice matches prior to the event and with one team member straining a muscle during warm up!

The tournament consisted of group games before a knockout stage and then the grand final. Unfortunately the Air-IT team did not make it into the final stages despite a valiant effort from all.

As a continual member of the Chamber Air-IT were pleased to have contributed towards the Comic Relief effort and enjoyed a good evening of football and networking with other members, despite not making the finals.
