As part of our on-going internal development programme we are pleased to announce that we have committed towards the Investors in People framework.

Air IT support awarded Investors in People

We have recently received our certificate of commitment and will be working towards achieving the accreditation during the coming year.

Launched in 1991, Investors in People offers a business improvement tool designed to help organisations develop performance through their people. It provides tailored assessments designed to support organisations in planning, implementing and evaluating effective strategies.

The UK’s leading people management standard, Investors in People provides a simple and flexible framework based on 3 core principles: Plan, Do and Review. These are broken down into 10 indicators which define the criteria that has to be fulfilled. To successfully achieve the Standard an organisation must meet 39 evidence requirements based on these core principals.

In order to become recognised as an Investors in People organisation Air-IT will undergo an assessment which is based on first hand evidence from staff interviews rather than documentary requirements. This means that all employees are involved in embracing the framework and passing the assessment required to achieve certification.

Investors in People is another clear indication of our continued commitment towards the development of our employees. The accreditation will provide a framework for continuous improvement to our organisations performance and level of service provided to our customers.
