We are very pleased to introduce our two newest members of staff David Mear and Charley Clarke, who have both joined us as technical apprentices.
David and Charley join our growing technical support team and will be completing their Microsoft Advanced IT Apprenticeship scheme with leading training provider and Air-IT neighbour Remit.
The fast-track apprenticeship scheme is run over 12 months and allows businesses to develop fully qualified Microsoft Certified IT support technicians as part of a structured training programme split between intense learning and integration into the workplace.
David Mear and Charley Clarke – New Technical Apprentices
David and Charley will be working very closely with our senior support technicians whilst gaining valuable experience on the Air-IT Help Desk. This will enable them to build upon their technical knowledge and skill set as they grow and develop in their roles.
Both will be studying a wide range of industry recognised IT qualifications thorough out their apprenticeship. This will provide a firm foundation to further develop their skills and capabilities as they take on greater challenges when dealing with future client IT support requests.
David and Charley will follow the same path as Jake and Josh, our previous apprentices, who have been a resounding success and are now valuable and integral members of the Air-IT support team.
David has had a keen interest in information technology from an early age and has built up his technical skill set and industry knowledge through self-learning and running his own home network. David joins us after recently completing his Advanced Diploma for ICT Practitioners and Certificate in Systems and Networking – an ideal platform to further pursue his career in IT support. A keen Rugby enthusiast David played the sport competitively until a recent injury cut short his playing career.
Charley is also very passionate about working with computers and joins us after completing his A levels. A keen sportsman, in particular football, Charley has played to a high standard with his local team winning many league titles and County cups. He is also a keen Nottingham Forest fan and joins our growing rank of Forest supporters, who now vastly outnumber our Derby supporting colleagues.
We would like to wish both David and Charley every success in their new positions and welcome them on-board as valued additions to our ever growing IT support team.
