Ryan Duckett, Commercial Director at Derbyshire CCC said:
We’re delighted to secure Air IT as one of our 1870 Business Club partners for the 2016 season. We’re very grateful for their support and we look forward to working in partnership over the next few months and beyond.
The branding on the player’s balcony is extremely prominent and we hope this will help enhance their presence further locally.
Recently, Air-IT were named 1st in the East Midlands in the MSPmentor 501: Global Edition rankings – a report which identifies the world’s top and most progressive managed service providers (MSPs).
With further plans for expansion throughout 2016, this sponsorship is just one of several key strategic partnerships enabling us to strengthen our regional presence, particularly in the Derby area.
Paul Judge, Air-IT Marketing Director says:
We’re really excited to get behind the club who’ve invested heavily in facilities and have a very bright future. Our new signage is high impact and will undoubtedly help raise our profile further in Derbyshire, which is home to some fantastic businesses.
The county is a key market for us so we hope to raise awareness of our services and generate new business enquiries.
Air-IT and Sport Sponsorship
Over the years Air-IT has been involved in a number of sports sponsorship including squash, racquetball, golf and football.
Air-IT’s MD, Todd McQuilkin says:
In my younger days I played for many cricket teams across the region, so from a personal perspective it’s great to get Air-IT involved – even if it is off pitch!
A sports mad kiwi, Todd has played indoor cricket to an extremely high standard in the past, representing the East Midlands against New Zealand and being selected for the over 35’s world cup in Australia in 2001.
So to celebrate the launch our partnership with Derbyshire CCC, it was fitting for Todd to be asked to inspect the wicket at the first Natwest T20 Blast home game of the season – a local East Midlands clash vs Leicestershire Foxes.
The match, which took place at the County Ground on the evening of Friday 3rd June, saw Derbyshire – also known as the Falcons, defeat the Foxes in front of a 3,000 strong crowd.
To top the evening off, Todd and Marketing Director, Paul were joined by first team regulars and kiwi cricketers Neil Broom, James Neesham and Hamish Rutherford up on the player’s balcony.

We’re really looking forward to building on our relationship with Derbyshire CCC and wish them every success throughout the remainder of the season and beyond.
