Air IT has announced key changes to its management team with effect from Thursday 1st September, 2016 in readiness for rapid growth and diversification.
After 11 years, Founder and Managing Director, Todd McQuilkin is stepping up to a new position as CEO, and Technical Director, James Healey has been appointed as MD.
Reflecting on Air IT’s journey, since the company was established in 2005, our new CEO, Todd McQuilkin commented:
I am very proud of what Air IT has achieved to date and James has been an integral part of that journey having been by my side every step of the way.
We’ve experienced significant growth, consistently reporting over 20% increase year on year and to top it off in my final year, we’re expecting an increase of 30% or more.
Regarding his plans for the future, James Healey said:
This is a very exciting time for Air IT and I’m delighted to take on the position as MD.
Having been on board since day one, I have seen the company experience significant change and high growth in an industry that’s fast paced and always evolving.
I’m eager to continue this journey so we remain at the forefront of technology and keep challenging ourselves through innovation and continuous improvement to keep delivering a world-class service to our ever growing client base.
Placing our clients’ needs first is an absolute must, so I’ll be working closely with the senior management team to offer further service improvements and helping our clients achieve success through technology.
Supporting James going forward, his management team consists of: Paul Judge (Marketing Director); Andrew Madigan (Finance Manager); Jamie Hissitt (Service Delivery Manager); Paul Driver (Client Services Manager); Simon Smith (Information Systems Manager); Tim Wiser (Centralised Services Manager) and Sam Reed, who was recently appointed as Chief Technology Officer, having previous experience in a similar role.

As CEO, Todd will continue to drive Air IT’s business strategy and will be working closely with employees via The Dream Manager Programme, an employee engagement initiative to maintain our 95% staff retention rate.
He will also be heading up a new venture under Air-MSP Consultancy, which is aimed at helping others in the ICT service industry benefit from operational improvements, by driving strategic innovation, and offering thought leadership.
Most service providers who see improvements in efficiency, customer service, and profitability, stall or fail. We’ll provide the help and experience to put things right, and will help them to achieve world class performance, using lessons learnt in the real-world through our own experiences.
With a clear vision for Air IT and Air-MSP ready to launch, the time has now come for James to captain the ship and I can’t wait to hand over the helm to a very capable young man.
We’d like to wish both Todd and James the very best of luck in their new roles and look forward to sharing many further years of success.
