John was automatically put forward for the Employee of the Quarter Award, after winning the Most Valuable Contribution in our quarter 4 Delivering Excellence staff awards.
He was shortlisted along with Field Engineer, Guy Liu and Service Desk Supervisor, Josh Turner who were winners of the Outstanding Customer Service and Most Improved Performance Awards.
All three winners were chosen for demonstrating outstanding commitment, going above and beyond the call of duty and fulfilling the core requirements of each award within the last quarter.
Leading to a staff vote for one Employee of the Quarter, John, Josh and Guy went head to head for the overall title.
Despite being extremely close, John was crowned the eventual winner during our annual Christmas Jumper Day celebrations on Friday 16th December. Please see some of our photos from the day on our Twitter feed, as shown below.

James Healey, Managing Director of Air-IT presented the award and said:
I’d like to say a huge well done to all of our staff award winners during 2016. Our awards programme aims to recognise those that have made significant contributions throughout the last 12 months – and there have been some very worthy winners.
I’d also like to take the opportunity to congratulate John, and wish him and all the other Employee of the Quarter winners the very best of luck in the final vote for our Employee of the Year Award for 2016.
