We’re extremely pleased to be sponsoring Derbyshire CCC for the 2017 cricket season, taking our support of the club into its second year and boosting our company presence across Derby and the wider East Midlands region.
With our branding across the full width of the player’s balcony at The 3aaa County Ground, 2016 was a great start to our partnership with Derbyshire CCC. Having featured on Sky Sports, and visible to sell-out crowds throughout the season, 2017 is set to be another exciting season for our sponsorship of the club.
Now into the second phase of its development, improvements to The 3aaa County Ground are due for completion in August and are set to include a state of the art business and media center, additional spectator seating, and enhanced facilities for visitors.
Paul Judge, Marketing Director at Air-IT said:
“We are proud to partner with the club during this period of growth and improvement and to retain our prominent signage moving into our second year as club sponsors. We really look forward to building on our existing relationship with Derbyshire CCC and wish them every success throughout the 2017 season and beyond.”

Sponsorship for the 2016/17 season
We’re very much looking forward to the return of Natwest T20 Blast and the Royal London One Day Cup. Once again, we will be advertising our services in both match day programmes and enjoying the cricket and hospitality with our clients and guests.

With the addition of 7 new signings, including the world’s number one limited-overs bowler, Imran Tahir, the team is going from strength to strength.
Ryan Duckett, Commercial Director at Derbyshire CCC said:
It is great to have Air IT on board once again as one of our partners and 1870 Business Club members.
We have an exciting summer ahead with a packed domestic schedule, the ICC Women’s World Cup, a tourist match against the West Indies, and Elton John in concert in June and we are very grateful for their support. We have had fantastic backing once again from the business community which has allowed us to enhance our squad for the season ahead.
1870 Business Club
Membership to the 1870 Business Club includes access to an exclusive but informal network for like-minded local business people to meet, strengthen relationships and support the cricket at Derbyshire CCC.
Air-IT recently attended the first event for 2017 which was held to launch the new season as a joint breakfast seminar with Marketing Derby and their bondholders.
Closely followed by the club’s media day, the morning also included a tour of the ground, a preview of the new team kit for 2017, and player demonstrations.
We look forward to future events throughout the season, including the upcoming ‘Women in Business’ event on Thursday 27th April, with guest speaker Sally Gunnell promoting the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign.
Air IT Sport Sponsorship
As a company, we are proud to support local sports and sponsor various clubs throughout the East Midlands. From professional to grass roots level, our partnerships include Nottingham Rugby, Nottingham Hockey, Ilkeston Rugby UFC and Little Eaton Diamonds FC, an under 8’s team based in Derby.
This summer, our staff will also be taking part in the UK Corporate Games, with Managing Director, James Healey heading up the Air-IT team for Squash.
Good luck Derbyshire CCC!
Once again, we’d like to wish everyone at Derbyshire CCC the very best of luck for the season ahead. We look forward to attending matches and events throughout the rest of the season ahead.
