Known to the fans as the Millers we have been happy to support Carlton Town FC (CTFC) for the past few years. Recently we watched the Carlton Town 1st Team storm to victory over Basford United FC in the final of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.
Led by Captain Kieren Walker the team showed what they were made of at the Meadow Lane home of Notts County. With Walker re-signing for 2017/18 we are excited to watch CTFC’s progress during the coming season.
Carlton Town FC
Founded as Sneinton FC in 1904 and renamed Carlton Town FC in 2002 the team have played at their home ground, the Stokeld Stadium, since the 1990’s. Currently in Division one of the Evo-Stick Northern Premier League the club announced a host of pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Having sponsored this local derby against the Mansfield Stags in previous years we knew it would be an exciting match. Carlton did not disappoint and finished with a 2-0 win over visitors Mansfield town.
Air-IT staff were there to cheer the Millers on from the sidelines, joined by ex Carlton legend Mark Dickinson and players from the youth teams Kimberley Miners Welfare and Little Eaton Diamonds.
Dickinson, affectionately known to the fans as ‘Dicko’ was recently voted best player ever for CTFC and did the honours presenting the coveted Man of the Match trophy to Danny Elliott who was the stand out player on the night.

Sponsoring teams who play football, cricket, rugby, golf and squash, our support of local sport has ranged from grass roots and junior teams to professional standards.
Involvement in Carlton Town FC began through our working relationship with MSR Newsgroup who have been telecoms clients of MBC for many years. As Chairman at the club, we were delighted to support Managing Director, Mick Garton as match day sponsor in 2014.
Since then we have continued annual match day support of a pre-season friendly. As well as attending games, we have presented three man of the match awards, enjoyed hospitality with clients & staff and photo opportunities with famous club mascot Miller Mouse! We also have enjoyed the benefits of pitch side advertising during past seasons which we have renewed for 2017/18.

Paul Judge, Marketing Director of Air-IT said of the relationship:
It’s great that we can continue to show our support to such a fantastic local team. Always exciting to watch it’s a pleasure to come down to games and enjoy the atmosphere of grass roots football.
Marketing Director, Air-IT
Once again, we’d like to wish everyone at Carlton Town FC the very best for the new season ahead.
