We are proud and delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists in the 35th anniversary BCS UK IT Industry Awards in the ‘Organisational Excellence – Best place to work in IT 2017’ category and in the 24th annual CRN Channel Awards – ‘MSP of the Year 2017’.
Earlier this year we received the IT Europa Excellence Award 2017 for our managed backup and business continuity solutions and in the summer, we were listed in the MSPmentor 501 at position 224 in their annual Global Edition ranking. To receive further recognition now by featuring as finalists in two of the industry’s most renowned and respected awards is fantastic news for our team.
Air-IT Managing Director, James Healey said:
We are thrilled to be included in the shortlist for not one but two high profile national awards in the same week! We have a great team at Air-IT who are the real success story here. Without the day to day team work none of this would be possible.
CRN Channel Awards 2017
Growing year on year since its inception in the 90’s, the CRN Channel Awards is one of the most respected and coveted independent awards in the IT industry.
Judged to an incredibly high standard, finalists were selected by a handpicked panel of 25 experienced business professionals across a wide range of industry sectors.
Using measurable and recent data, judges were looking to find out how we stand out from our competitors. Most importantly, they were looking for continued innovation from the entrants, to prove that they are constantly and consistently striving to offer value added service to all our clients and end users.
To be recognised as one of the eight finalists in the Managed Service Provider of the year category is a fantastic achievement and we are really proud to have reached this stage over many other high level entrants.
BCS Charted Institute of IT Award
The Best Place to Work in IT award will be presented to the company that shows proven commitment to providing the best employment and career opportunities to IT professionals during the past 12 months. Recruitment in the IT sector is extremely fierce – we share space with some of the biggest brands in the industry so it is important that, as an employer, we stand out.
Seeking to reward organisations who have improved business operations through innovative IT systems the BCS Charted Institute of IT Awards shortlist finalists on four key criteria; Professionalism, Excellence, Innovation and Measurable success.
As a company with strong values, a mature staff recognition scheme and up to date reporting of Key performance indicators (KPI’s) we provided detailed information on why we believe we meet each criteria and we are delighted to reach the finalists stage.
The overall winner will prove to the judges that their employees view it as a great place to work where they feel valued and supported.
Paul Fletcher, Group CEO, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT said:
Congratulations to everyone who’s been shortlisted, they clearly demonstrate the highest levels of excellence and innovation across today’s IT sector. These awards showcase some of the brightest and best in our industry, and it is a significant achievement to be shortlisted.
We are very much looking forward to attending the glittering award ceremonies for both accolades which, by coincidence, will both be held in London at the Battersea Events Arena in mid-November.
Air-IT’s Managing Director, James Healey and Marketing Director, Paul Judge will attend the black tie events starting with the BCS Charted Institute of IT awards night on Wednesday 15th and the CRN Channel Awards the following day on Thursday 16th November.
The whole team here at Air-IT are extremely excited and waiting with eager anticipation for the results.
