We’re delighted to announce the fourth and final round of winners in our Great People Awards for 2017, which included naming our all-new Employee of the Year as Service Desk Team Leader, Alex Nicol.
Great People Awards: Recognising Performance
In our quarterly awards, we celebrated Marketing Executive, Zee Sheldon as the new L.O.V.E Award winner. Matt Coppin also returned as the winner of the Outstanding Customer Service Award, making it his third time lucky across the whole year.

Influenced by internal and external feedback our Great People Awards allow colleagues and clients to recognise and reward those who have gone the extra mile in their roles.
Marketing Executive, Zee Sheldon was crowned winner of the L.O.V.E Award which is awarded to the employee who has achieved most recognition for ‘Living Our Values Everyday’.
Based on Kudos points from peers, Zee received a total of 12 badges in Quarter 4 – with most given for demonstrating our Community and Excellence values.
Notably, she was recognised for her commitment to organising an array of staff and client events including fundraising for various charities, as well as training and business exhibitions.
Special note was also given for going above and beyond to organise staff Christmas parties, including a festive day for families and the grand opening of our new offices.
Despite receiving the award, Zee was also recognised for issuing the most peer recognition across the whole of the business along with the wider Marketing team.

Outstanding Customer Service Award
Having previously won the award in Quarter 1 and 2, Field Engineer Matt Coppin excelled once more and claimed the Outstanding Customer Service Award for a third time. The result also marks a clean sweep for his team, with Field Engineer Daniel Gates shining through in Quarter 3.
Based on consistently positive feedback from clients, the fact that Matt has won this award 3 times in the last 12 months is a real testament to the fantastic job he is doing.
Feedback from clients included:
‘Couldn’t have asked for a better technician, great service.’
‘Matthew was really helpful and patient with staff who needed to ask questions. They reported back that he didn’t make them feel silly for asking simple queries. He was very professional and polite throughout our computer upgrade.’

Employee of the Year 2017
Our Employee of the Year Award was presented to Alex Nicol who ranked in the top 5 employees for every list used to determine our overall champion.
A former winner of the L.O.V.E award, Alex consistently ranked in the top 5 employees giving and receiving Kudos.
In addition to completing his performance objectives, he was also recognised for attendance and his general willingness to go above and beyond in his role.
Specific examples include studying at home for a diploma in Team Leadership, leading our internal customer service training programme and volunteering as Fire Marshall.
With his appetite to continually learn and take on new challenges, Alex is an excellent example to the rest of the team and is a very deserving Employee of the Year.
