Air IT would like to congratulate Technical Lead John Davies, who has been named the first ever staff member to win both of our Great People Award titles in a single quarter.
Great People Awards: Recognising Performance
Air IT introduced the Great People Awards in 2017 as a way to say thank you to the team for the fantastic job that they do every day. Each quarter since then we have celebrated the winners of our Outstanding Customer Service and Living Our Values Everyday (L.O.V.E) Awards before celebrating our overall ‘Employee of the Year’ in December.
Outstanding Customer Service Award
The Outstanding Customer Service Award recognises the team member who receives the highest number of positive responses using our post support survey tool. Enabled with gamification, this enables us to reward service excellence and monitor client satisfaction with a view to continual improvement.
Based on internal feedback, The Living Our Values Everyday (L.O.V.E) Award is based on peer recognition that reflects our company values. Using an online platform, employees are able to reward each other for going above and beyond in their roles.
All for one and one for all!
Although it was incredibly close in both categories, it’s no surprise that John has been recognised for his efforts. As Technical Lead, John is well known for being the ‘go to’ person within the company when colleagues and clients need an extra hand – a dependable team player.

Gaining Kudos in all four of our values – Innovation, Commitment, Community and Excellence – clearly shows that John is leading by example and living our company values every day. Whilst winning either award is an incredible achievement, winning both in a single quarter is testament to his character and makes it an incredibly noteworthy victory. Air IT’s Managing Director, James Healey said:
