Air IT is delighted to have been crowned as the Best Small Enterprise Managed Service Provider (MSP) at this year’s Service Desk Institute (SDI) Awards ceremony, whilst Paige Smith came runner-up as Service Desk Manager of the Year.

One of the industry’s most prestigious awards, there were 10 esteemed accolades up for grabs on the night. This year’s black-tie ceremony took place on Tuesday 26th March as part of the SDI 2019 Conference at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.
Best Small Enterprise Managed Service Provider 2019
The Best Small Enterprise MSP Award recognises the outstanding contribution and positive impact we have on our clients every day.
The judging process was tough, consisting of a comprehensive written entry, and two presentation days with the judges. After narrowly missing out on the same award last year, we are over the moon to have taken home this highly coveted title.
It’s a fantastic achievement for Air IT to be Best Small Enterprise MSP 2019, and one of which all the team should be exceptionally proud. This category was fiercely contended with some phenomenal entries – very many congratulations and well done to all the Air IT team.

As a finalist in this category, we were offered the opportunity to produce a short video to be showcased on awards night. Of course, we jumped at the chance to have some fun and saw this as the perfect opportunity to showcase our company mascot Tech Tom’s fresh look and introduce his new side-kick, i-Tina.

Service Desk Manager of the Year 2019 Finalist
The evening of celebrations continued as Service Delivery Manager, Paige Smith, reached the final stages in the Service Desk Manager of the Year category.
Despite being pipped to the post, getting to the final rounds of such a highly-regarded award is a fantastic achievement nonetheless. Congratulations, Paige!

SDI Conference 2019
This year’s SDI conference, which is held annually, took place across three days from Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th March. Now in its 32nd year, the event brings together service desk leaders from all over the globe to share knowledge and industry best practice.
The Air IT team was delighted to exhibit at the conference and meet delegates and fellow industry experts from all over the world.
