Air IT is extremely pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Employer of the Year category at both the Nottingham Post and Derby Telegraph Business Awards 2019.
The Business Awards
Recognised as two of the East Midland’s most prestigious business events, the Nottingham Post and Derby Telegraph Business Awards are an annual celebration of the region’s highest achieving and most innovative companies and people.
This year, there are 15 coveted awards up for grabs at both events, each recognising exemplary performance, successes and contribution to the local economy.
The winners will be announced at separate (but equally high-profile) ceremonies, with the Nottingham Post Awards taking place on Wednesday 22nd May and the Derby Telegraph Awards on Wednesday 5th June.
Employer of the Year Finalists
After scooping the Nottingham Post’s Excellence in Industry Award 2018 and being named SME Business of the Year at last year’s Derby Telegraph Awards, we’re delighted to have been announced as a finalist in the highly-regarded Employee of the Year category this time round.
The Employer of the Year Award recognises the region’s top places to work. To be shortlisted, businesses must prove their commitment to investing in employees through development opportunities and other rewards and benefits, as well as the importance of employee safety and security at the workplace.
We’re proud of the unique culture we’ve built over the years, which encourages our employees to live our values every day.
It’s been an incredible journey for us at Air IT. Since starting with just two staff in 2005, we now have a growing workforce of 63 employees, with more new starters joining the team in the coming months.
We pride ourselves on our employee-centric culture and we’re committed to providing an environment where employees can thrive and enjoy coming to work. This award is fantastic recognition of this, and it’s an honour to have reached the final stages in this very popular category at both the Nottingham Post and Derby Telegraph Awards.
Whatever the outcome, we look forward to the upcoming ceremony and what’s sure to be a fantastic evening!
