Air IT Mental Health Awareness Week

Enjoying Dress Down Friday in aid of Mind

Mental Health Awareness Week

Taking place from Monday 13th – Friday 17th May, Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual initiative set up by the Mental Health Organisation to promote better mental health.

Proud to support employee happiness and welfare, we took the opportunity to launch our new Wellbeing Wednesdays in the office and to fundraise for Mind charity, whose important work seeks to remove stigma and promote the importance of mental health.

Kicking off the week with some sweet treats, the team got their baking hats on and whipped up a delicious bake sale. Fundraising continued throughout the week, with a Dress Down Friday to spread the weekend cheer in exchange for a small donation.

We’re delighted to have raised a total of £100 in aid of Mind charity’s Mental Health Awareness Week campaign.

Wellbeing Wednesdays

We’re committed to providing a positive working environment and are always looking for new activities to support the team.

Following a recent employee engagement exercise, which saw “Health and Wellbeing” and “Relaxation Activities” rank as top priorities for employees, Mental Health Awareness Week was the perfect opportunity to launch our new Wellbeing Wednesdays.

For the next six weeks, we’ll be welcoming a Mindfulness coach to the office on Wednesday lunchtimes for a 30-minute Wellbeing Workshop. The team will have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of Mindfulness and how it can be implemented into everyday life, promoting happiness and wellbeing.
