We are delighted to announce that Air IT has successfully achieved the internationally recognised ISO 20000-1 Service Management standard, marking our excellence in the delivery of managed IT services.
Globally recognised standards
The International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) develops and publishes globally recognised best practice standards across almost all industries.
Having recently attained the ISO 14001 Environment Management System accreditation, as well as renewing certification for ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, we’re delighted to add yet another high standard to our portfolio – this time for IT service management.
ISO 20000-1: Service Management
ISO 20000-1 is the international standard for best practice IT Service Management. The framework requires an organisation to demonstrate a comprehensive service management system (SMS) that monitors and reviews the performance of its services, enabling continual improvement.
Following a four-day audit with an external certification body, we are delighted to have been recognised for meeting the high calibre requirements of this standard.
During the audit process, we successfully evidenced the SMS processes we have in place to plan, deliver and improve our services. We showed that we benchmark our performance to increase effectiveness and internal efficiencies, ensuring we deliver high value to our clients.
This is a fantastic achievement for our business. We strive to deliver exceptional quality every time and our commitment to continual service improvement plays a key part in achieving this. Operating in line with best practice frameworks such as ISO 20000-1 provides reassurance to customers that we continually review performance to increase efficiencies and drive standards, and ultimately deliver real value.
