The Role

Due to continued success, Air IT have an immediate need for an experienced Internal Comms Account Manager to join our Client Services team. As an Internal Comms Account Manager at Air IT you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of communications clients, building lasting, professional relationships. You will be the first point of contact for your customers’ communications needs, identifying the best solutions for their business and providing expert advice. The role is varied and demanding, you will be responsible for providing sales support and managing your own portfolio of accounts ensuring client retention and proactively identifying opportunities for growth.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Internal Account Manager / Sales Support Administrator from an IT and Communications background. You will have a vast knowledge of communications and mobile solutions and a proven record of managing accounts. You will be driven and have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.


Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Quote and negotiate for equipment and services that are a best fit for the client
  • Identify profitable opportunities with existing client base
  • Handle sales and product enquiries related to all services, including price support and quotes
  • Provide sales support for customer proposals
  • Assist with provisioning and ongoing support of mobiles, telecoms and connectivity
  • Identify the dates of client contract renewals and to undertake appropriate sales activities to encourage renewal and/or upgrades
  • Accurately create and update tickets within our CRM system
  • Work with all departments to ensure outstanding customer service from end to end
  • Manage supplier relationships, in order to ensure the best prices are obtained for clients


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience working for an IT & Communications company
  • Sales support or internal account management experience
  • Knowledge of hosted solutions, business mobiles and phone systems
  • Comms provisioning experience
