Our quarterly staff Awards have just been announced and we’re thrilled to be celebrating a round of recognition and achievement for four members of our Technical Support team.
Award Winners – Richard Smith, Charley Clarke, Ben Lee and Ben Green
Our staff awards were introduced last year to celebrate and reward Air-IT / MBC team members who have gone above and beyond in their roles and efforts.
Three categories were bought together to form our Delivering Excellence Awards programme, which was designed to cover the various ways our staff contribute to the on-going success of our business – with particular focus on our core values of service excellence and customer commitment.
Categories include: Outstanding Customer Service, Most Improved Performance and Most Valuable Contribution.
Winners are chosen by our company Directors who decide which staff best demonstrate these qualities and have shown outstanding achievement during the period.
Winners of our Delivering Excellence Awards
This quarter’s winners were announced at our company meeting in June. Awards were presented by our Managing Director, Todd McQuilkin who congratulated each of our four winners who all hailed from our Service Desk department.
Richard Smith – Outstanding Customer Service
For his consistently high levels of customer care, earning positive client and colleague recognition alike – all within just three months since joining us to become a highly valued part of our IT support team.
Charley Clarke – Most Improved Performance
For his outstanding transition in his new position as purple team leader in the Service Desk. Charley has embraced this new role, leading the team by example to ensure highest standards continue to be achieved and exceeded.
Ben L & Ben G – Most Valuable Contribution
In an unprecedented move, the Directors put forward two candidates for this award – Field Engineer, Ben Lee and Remote Support Technician Ben Green.
Their shared award recognises a joint effort to improve and standardise support processes used by our technical team.
This has resulted in increased efficiencies and much improved best practice for our service management.
Congratulations go out to all four deserved winners who receive a meal for two at a restaurant of their choice.
Employees’ Employee Award
Richard, Charley, Ben L and Ben G now go forward to the next stage of our Awards for the Employees’ Employee of the Quarter accolade.
This is an award that gives our staff the chance to have their say when they vote for the ultimate winner and decide on who they think deserves special recognition for their efforts during the quarter.

Voting for our Employees’ Employee of the Quarter Award is now under way and the staff member with the most votes will be announced at our next company meeting – so watch this space for announcements.
