Air-IT is proud to announce the latest winners of our quarterly staff awards which saw three team members recognised for outstanding achievements and the introduction of our all new Employee of the Year Award.

Celebrating excellence and success

Initially introduced in 2014, our Delivering Excellence Awards programme is designed to recognise those who have excelled in their roles, making a significant contribution to the ongoing success of the business.

Announced each quarter, the awards process begins with three category awards. The trio of accolades are decided and announced by the management team and include:

Winners are chosen for fulfilling the core requirements of each award which includes demonstrating company values and going above and beyond the call of duty within their role.

Quarter 1, 2016 – Air-IT staff award winners

This quarter, winners include:

Remote Support Technician, Alex Nicol – winner, Outstanding Customer Service Award

IT Support Technician, Alex was chosen as winner of the Outstanding Customer Service Award in recognition of his commitment for delivering excellent service standards in his client facing role within the Service Desk department.

As a result, Alex receives consistently high customer feedback in line with the core service values we set as a world leading managed service provider and is a highly valued member of the team.

Account Manager, Alex Cook – winner, Most Valuable Contribution Award

As winner of the Most Valuable Contribution Award, Alex’s award recognises the progress he continues to make in his role as Account Manager, where he’s going from strength to strength.

It’s also Alex’s second successive staff award since he was also named winner of the Outstanding Customer Service Award, in December 2015. This is testament to the commitment Alex shows in assisting clients and progressing further within his role.

Junior Field Engineer, Matt Coppin – winner, Most Improved Performance Award

Matt was chosen as winner of the Most Improved Performance Award to recognise the early and fantastic impression he’s made in his new role as Junior Field Engineer.

Having only joined the company in January, Matt is off to a flying start, fitting in seamlessly with the team and has already been the subject of numerous positive reports from clients.

Well done to all three winners who each receive dinner for two at a restaurant of their choice, as well as automatic nomination for the Employee of the Quarter Award (Q1).

Each quarter, the named winners of the above category awards go through to a staff vote to decide who will be presented with the overall Employee of the Quarter Award.

Although voting was extremely close, Alex Nicol won with a majority vote and was crowned Employee of the Quarter – so big congratulations to Alex.

Alex wins a weekend break away for 2 and is proud owner our new Employee of the Quarter trophy for quarter 1.

Alex also goes through to a final vote off at the end of the year for our new Employee of the Year Award – the ultimate accolade – along with our three further Employee of the Quarter winners throughout 2016, as yet to be decided.

Alex comments:

Whilst I’m very grateful for this award, the only reason I can do my job so well is because I’m surrounded by great people.

It’s their hard work and constant support that makes Air-IT such a fantastic place to be, so I’m honoured to receive this recognition from them all.
