We're extremely pleased to have been certified under the IASME cyber security Governance standard. Having already gained the government backed cyber essentials certification, the achievement further demonstrates our commitment to cyber security and leading by example within this space.
About the IASME Governance Standard
Recognised by the UK Government as the most comprehensive cyber security standard, the ISAME Governance standard is based on international best practices.
Developed in partnership with the Technology Strategy Board, since renamed Innovate UK, the aim of the award is to raise awareness of the risks to information within businesses and supply chains.
How to implement good practice and how to be proactive in the face of any cyber security incidents that may occur is also considered.
Incorporating Cyber Essentials and a GDPR assessment, we’re delighted to have successfully passed the IASME Governance standard demonstrating the strength of our systems and overall approach to security measures.
This further proves our commitment to cyber security and assures our customers that we’re properly protecting their information ahead of new legislation which comes into force next May.”

How we achieved IASME
As part of our application, we were required to undertake several assessments, including IASME requirements, the Government’s Cyber Essentials scheme and a GDPR analysis.
Our congratulations go out to Air-IT who have built on their Cyber Essentials certification and now also hold IASME Governance. They also become one of the first companies to be assessed against the GDPR requirements. For their clients, this all demonstrates that they take the protection of data extremely seriously.”
Coming into effect from 25th May 2018 the GDPR, otherwise known as the General Data Protection Regulation will introduce compulsory reporting and financial penalties for any cyber security breaches arising due to lack of adequate prevention.
Being recognised as GDPR ready assures our customers that we’re properly protecting their information ahead of this new legislation.
Now a minimum requirement for any company bidding on Government contracts the Cyber Essentials certificate demonstrates a sound understanding of how to implement the necessary infrastructure to protect our company systems.
The five key controls outlined in the program sets a baseline of cyber security any company can implement to improve resilience. We not only consider these in our own business but build them into our managed security services for our clients.
