We were delighted to attend the official launch of the Air-IT Kop Stand, which took place at Notts County’s first home game of the season on Saturday 12th August in a local derby vs Chesterfield FC.
Agreeing a deal as sponsor back in June shortly after the club’s recent takeover, we were delighted to see our sponsorship come to life in front of a 7,000-strong crowd at Meadow Lane.
Displayed prominently across the top and inside of the Kop stand and above the home and away team dugout, fans cannot miss our support of the club – which is known to be the oldest football league club in the world.
As well as signage inside the ground, we also have revamped turnstiles in County Road and Iremonger Road with new boards above the home and away supporter’s gates.

As match sponsors, our CEO and guests were treated to a private tour of the grounds by legendry former county player Les Bradd, followed by a 4-course meal in The Don Masson suite. The VIP’s then made their way outside to the Derek Pavis executive seats in time for kick off, with great views of our new signage and the action on the field.

After a slow first half the pace picked up in the second 45 minutes where the Magpies dominated the field and in an exciting finish the supporters were treated to a 2-0 win for the home team.
At a reception following the game visitors enjoyed a Q & A session with the players and Air-IT Founder, Todd McQuilkin who presented the coveted Man of The Match trophy to Nottingham born winger Terry Hawkridge.

To celebrate our partnership with the Magpies, the club also presented Todd with a framed shirt signed by all the members of the 17/18 squad. A gesture that marked the great relationship between Air-IT and NCFC both on and off the pitch.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Air-IT as sponsors of the Kop for the forthcoming campaign. We have also been working closely with them on a number of initiatives and would like to thank them for their great support so far this season.
MOTM Hawkridge, is a rising star in the league and he has high hopes for the season ahead. Previously playing for Carlton Town Fc the midfielder recently signed a two year deal with NCFC. In further support of the team, Air-IT are pleased to be home kit sponsor of Hawkridge for games at the Lane.
Todd McQuilkin, CEO of Air-IT comments:
It’s great to be working closely with NCFC as a sponsor and partner during this new era for the club. Saturday’s match was the first of many home games we plan to attend, and a great kick off for the rest of the season. We’d like to wish everyone at Meadow Lane the very best in their future efforts, both on and off the field.
